Aurum's proposal is an intervention in a pre-existence, committed to its physical reality as well as the contractual commitments already established, in materials, solutions, colors.

The space for the intervention is minimal and that is why we had to dismantle the “building” to reassemble it again, learning from it how it works, how it is structured and composed, to understand where and how we could intervene.

After the initial attempts to further impose a new element on the building, the proposal was moving towards a greater blending, sewing the possible stitches so the final resulting set is more coherent.

The foundation, the guard and the platband are the fundamental topics where the intervention takes place. Coherent between each other, they establish a reframing mesh for the elements, materials and colors of the building as it stands, which merge, canceling out the distinction between the symmetry of applied color and the flaps that overlap in contranature.
