Casa Lavra is located in the Portuguese coastal area of Lavra, in the transition between the most urbanized area and the agricultural surroundings.

The narrow and elongated shape of the lot suggests an unusual implantation. To take full advantage of the width of the land, the building leans against its limit, on the right side, releasing a continuous green space on the opposite boundary that accompanies the house and which relates to common areas through patios and outside platforms. 

The house results in a longitudinal succession of spaces, from the garage, crossing the social areas of the house and culminating in the pool, at the edge of the land and overlooking the garden, in an area where it was not possible to build.
