The Feira do Cavalo appears as a natural evolution (and extension) of the Mercado do Gado, reinforced by the town's growing commitment to equestrian events. In general, it consists of a large square that receives the flow of Alameda de São João and makes a smooth transition to the riverbank. It is finished off with a large bench, that also tends to be green, which transforms this large square into a kind of amphitheater.
